Election 2017 Empty Election 2017

It has come to my attention that the notification "Call for Candidates" has not been emailed as such but buried in June's monthly statement communication.  This has never happened until now.  Anyone else miss it?  Aside from the one person telling me about it, myself and all others I spoke to missed it as well.  I am also curious if others received the notice in paper form.  Could it be that certain people want to run for the Board largely unopposed?
